Symphony No. 2 for Percussion: A 4-movement, 36-minute work, composed in typical Classical symphonic form. It is one of the largest compositions for a percussion ensemble.

A Sacred Mass for Mixed Chorus and Percussion Quartet: This work is in 5 movements (Lord Have Mercy, Glory Be to God, Creed, Holy, Holy, Holy, and Lamb of God). It is one of the few compositions that features 4 percussion soloists and mixed chorus. Dedicated to Father John P. Kavanaugh, Cirone's friend, it is a dramatic presentation of the Catholic Mass.

5 Items for Soprano and Percussion:Composed for a Concert of World Premieres at San José State University, the text is taken from a set of poems by Lou Harrison, titled: 19 Items. Cirone and Harrison were colleagues at San José State University for 17 years and collaborated on a number of works during the 1970s.
